Colombia has a rich colonial history and many colonial sites are still intact and beautiful places to be visited. You can find some amazing preserved architecture in the colonial villages like Baricharra and Villa de Leiva. In the cities Popayan and Cartagena the old city centers can make you feel you are walking around in a little fairy tale.
